In 2003 the close partnership between City Lofts Group and Conran and Partners was formalised. The partnership ensures a full contemporary architectural and interior design service for each new City Lofts development from a renowned leader in apartment design.
Flotation on the Alternative Investment Market in December 2003 resulted in significant expansion in the City Lofts Group programme for property development with exciting new mixed use properties planned in major cities throughout the UK.
City Lofts Group has completed 12 developments which have produced £164m in sales.
Property development in the UK remains buoyant, and City Lofts Group have a development pipeline of 3,354 apartments worth around £700m with three developments valued at £166m due to start construction before the end of 2006 and there are currently 6 more developments under construction worth an estimated £182m.
Our target market is mainly young professionals working and living in the city centres. Market demographics continue to support this approach with single person households accounting for almost 30% of all households and forecast to grow a further 40% by 2021. In addition, the employment of key professionals in the financial and business services sector in major cities will grow from 18% to 22% by 2011.
